We are excited to offer free virtual tutoring from volunteer undergraduate and graduate students, through EduMate NYC for our K-4 scholars. This is an optional opportunity for any of our scholars. Via phone or zoom, these volunteers can provide scholars support with their current distance learning program or provide supplemental assignments on top of their current learning program.
We are here for you and we want to hear from you! Please see below for important contact information:
● Academics: If you have any questions about your child’s academics, your first point of contact should be the teacher who will be working closely with your child over the next few weeks. They should have reached out already. ● Food: For any meal related concerns please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org ● Technology: For any technology concerns please submit a ticket by using this link https://remotelearning.achievementfirst.org/tech ● Other Concerns or Questions: Please email email@example.com.
In the midst of our distance learning program, we want to hear from one of our most important stakeholders, our families. We are giving a ~10-15 minute survey to gather information about their experience with the learning program thus far. It is important for us to hear every family’s voice, so we can work to build the strongest learning program.
This is a challenging time for all of us. Feeling anxious, depressed, angry, or isolated is normal. If your child is feeling any of these things, or just wants an opportunity to connect with a familiar face, Ms. R. Gilbert is here.
To schedule an appointment: Email Rachelgilbert@achievementfirst.org and include your child’s name.
